Stand with the campaign to fix California insurance.
Dr. Sean Lee's campaign is funded entirely by Californians who want a working insurance market again. Contributions from insurance companies and industry executives are not accepted, by policy. Choose an amount that reflects what you can give.

Your contribution supports a serious, statewide campaign for California Insurance Commissioner. Funds are directed to voter outreach, policy communication, press operations, and field organizing across the counties that decide this race. The committee files quarterly disclosures with the California Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC #1489551), so every dollar is accounted for in the public record.
California campaign contribution limits apply. Maximum $9,300 per individual per election for statewide office. Corporate contributions from insurance companies are prohibited by Sean's campaign policy.

Frequently asked
Is my donation tax deductible?
No. Contributions to political campaigns are not tax deductible under federal or California state law.
What information will I need to provide?
Full legal name, mailing address, occupation, and employer (the latter two are required by state law for any contribution over $100). Email and phone are optional but help the campaign keep you updated.
Will my name be made public?
California state law requires that campaign contributions of $100 or more be disclosed on FPPC filings, which become part of the public record. Smaller donations are aggregated.
Can I donate from outside California?
Yes. Any U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident may donate to a California state campaign. Foreign nationals may not.
Does Sean take money from insurance companies?
No. By personal policy, the campaign declines contributions from insurance companies, insurance industry trade associations, and executives of those companies. This is the conflict-of-interest line.
